Within the IRONFLICK AGGRESSIVE series—purpose-built for slow-pitch jigging—this model features a distinctively short length of 5 feet 1 inch.
The compact length enables precise and responsive jigging in deep water, providing outstanding control and maneuverability.
The rod’s firm tip-to-belly section ensures that even in depths, long jigs can be accelerated sharply, making it ideal for high-pitch jerking techniques that rely on fast, long-distance darting to target species like greater amberjack.
While high-modulus carbon short rods often carry a risk of breakage, this model strikes a fine balance between sensitivity, durability, and flexibility—effectively minimizing that risk.
