Now on sale!

This 4-power bait model is designed for slow flap jerking, utilizing its longer 6.3 ft length to allow jigs to swim wide and leisurely. The flexible characteristics of the supple 24t graphite material enable continuous comfortable jerking without feeling the rod's length. This rod is ideal for long-fall jerking, which is particularly effective for tuna, involving large jig lifts and extended fall times.

It handles a range of fishing from tuna jigging in Mie/Toba and the Izu Islands to 50kg class tuna and amberjack.

Jig weight: MAX 350g OVER Water depth: 40m - 250m Target fish: Tuna, Amberjack, Large rockfish

【目安 for Mr. Miura from Hokkaido for bluefin tuna use】
When using Iron Will for bluefin tuna jigging:
・IWPS-527BWPF (7 power) PE8, often uses drag of 10kg or more / jigs 250-400 grams
536WPF (6 power)
585BW+PF (5 power plus) PE6-8, prefers a longer rod / jigs 200-400 grams
595W+PF
634BSF (4 power)
PE5, for 30-40kg class / jigs 180-300 grams
In my personal opinion for bait models, it might be possible to catch around 100kg fish by combining straight fight and gimbal fight!? I caught an over 80kg fish with 585B two years ago (fight time less than 20 minutes) and an over 60kg fish with 634B last year (fight time less than 10 minutes), and felt no anxiety at all.
I will omit specific reel brands, but models that are too small are not suitable due to weak retrieval power.
For spinning reels, 18000-20000 by Company S and Company D, and 8500 by Company P. For baitcasting reels, 4000 by Company S and 100-120 by SOM. PE line 6-8 is currently the mainstream.

All guides use lightweight titanium frames. Power flap models feature robust T-KWSG-SiC guides from butt to tip sections, while slow flap models use lighter T-KLSG-SiC-S guides only in the tip section. The top guide is T-KGST. The guide system, optimized for each power and ensuring reliable strength, with titanium frames, also reduces stress on the rod due to its spring-like flexibility when bent. Butt guide size is #20. Top guide size for power flap models is #10, and for slow flap models, it's #8.
