[How to Use]
With short to long jerks as the main action, make it swim just below the surface with a rolling action while creating bubbles during the action input. This versatile popper is easy for anyone to use, allowing for various presentations such as popping & stay actions with reduced travel distance depending on the target species, or long swimming actions with reeling.
【Nature Boys PELICAN 180F】
We started delivering our new diving popper PELICAN180F in March 2023.
This diving popper is made of wood in Japan and targets Tuna, Yellowfin and GT.
This lure is equipped with two tungsten weights to ensure a long distance despite its small size. The sharp rolling action appeals to slender sunfish, tuna, and GT.
(Due to the limited production volume, we expect to deliver the products separately.

"It's perfectly finished. That's the impression this lure gives me. The action was derived from many prototypes. Sometimes, the material itself was significantly changed, leading to this complete form.
Testing was done in numerous fields. From Hachijo-jima shore plugging, the sacred ground of Nature Boys, to Miyake-jima pier casting. Amami Oshima offshore rock fishing and Okinawa mainland shore games. It has traveled all over Japan and shared many good journeys.

The final prototype test was conducted in Aomori Prefecture before regulations were implemented. The target was, of course, bluefin tuna. The final step was to confirm with the fish. We searched a wide area with enticing actions. The flight posture was excellent. Despite weighing around 70g, it achieved outstanding casting distance even with PE8 line.
Among other lures swimming on the surface, the bluefin tuna chose the Pelican 180F first. I believe this is the best answer. It's perfectly finished.
Starting in February 2022, we will begin accepting orders for the new diving popper "PELICAN180F" at stores.
On our official web store, reservations will begin in February, with deliveries scheduled for March.
