【Development History】
This time, we started development in the highly competitive Sotobo amberjack fishing grounds.
We sought a slim diving pencil that would be difficult for fish to discern, along with a rolling action that provided contradictory flight posture and casting distance.
From late summer to early autumn, tests were conducted at Yamasho-maru.
We received advice from Captain Yamaguchi and his experienced staff.
In early spring, we went to the Goto Islands for testing.
We were greatly assisted by Captain Tomonaga of Status.
It was also effective in the Goto Islands with high-speed jerking.
Even in tough conditions, there was a reaction from large fish. There were two big bites and fights, but the line broke.
Captain Tomonaga also praised it for catching fish in difficult conditions, and has been testing it ever since.
In spring in the Genkai Sea and Tsushima, we were assisted by Captain Tashiro of Sunrise on Yoichi Motegi's tour.
There were scenes where big bites were achieved with a diving action that switched on fish even when they were reluctant to bite in calm conditions, but... there were also scenes where the angler's skill was lacking.
During the rainy season, we went to Choei-maru in Iwawada, Onjuku.
Despite tough conditions, we were able to catch good-sized amberjack.
It demonstrates a rolling action that triggers the feeding switch of nervous amberjack in the highly competitive Sotobo area.
The flight posture and casting distance on underhand casts are also noteworthy points.
